Newly-Developed Telescopic Lock

Requirements for modern loading infrastructure are continuously increasing: companies are looking for solutions that not only speed up logistics processes but also reduce energy costs, protect goods, and at the same time ensure safe and comfortable working conditions. With the newly developed telescopic dock seal, our company offers a forward-looking answer – specially designed for use with double-deck trucks, yet universally usable for all common vehicle types.

At the core of this innovation is a motorized telescopic section that extends automatically at the push of a button. As soon as a double-deck truck is positioned in reverse at the loading dock, the operating personnel activates the system via an intuitive control unit – within a few seconds, the seal extends precisely to the rear of the vehicle and forms a tight, wind- and weatherproof connection between the building opening and the truck.

This demand-controlled activation combines the advantages of modern automation with the safety of human control. Unintended movements do not occur, and the operator always retains full oversight of the loading process. At the same time, sealing quality is maximized – a decisive factor for energy efficiency, climate stability inside the hall, and the protection of sensitive goods.

Thanks to the seamless sealing, the exchange of indoor and outdoor air is almost completely prevented. This means: less heat loss in winter, less cold loss in refrigerated areas – and thus significantly lower energy costs. Especially in times of rising energy prices and stricter climate targets, this technology makes a measurable contribution to sustainability and operational cost reduction. Companies can thus improve their CO₂ balance and operate more economically in the long term.

In addition to energy optimization, the telescopic dock seal also reliably protects transported goods from precipitation, dust, wind, and temperature fluctuations.
