Energy-Efficient and Safe Solution for Modern Logistic Hall

Efficient logistics begins with the right infrastructure. As an experienced specialist, Weglehner was once again entrusted with an extensive project: the complete outfitting of a modern logistics hall with high-quality loading technology, powerful industrial doors and intelligent safety systems. From planning through to final installation, all trades were implemented from a single source – efficiently, safely and sustainably.

The focus of the project was on saving energy during daily operations. To achieve this, several industrial doors were professionally installed and equipped with a precisely fitted dock shelter. This ensures a clean seal between the door and the vehicle and noticeably reduces heat loss. Particularly in a logistics hall with frequent opening cycles, a high-quality dock shelter quickly pays off by reducing energy consumption and maintaining a stable indoor climate.

The systems used are designed to withstand heavy use and support an economical and sustainable hall operation.

Another key focus was safety for people and vehicles. Robust loading plates were installed at the loading stations, creating a safe transition between the loading ramp and the vehicle floor. Especially during WAP loading, precisely fitting loading plates are important to avoid trip hazards and make the loading process safer.

In addition, modern signalling solutions at the loading stations ensure that drivers and employees can clearly recognise at all times when docking or loading is possible. This significantly increases safety during ongoing operations and reduces the risk of incorrect manoeuvres or unintentional driving off.

The design of the components used outdoors was also particularly important. A powerful high-speed roller door was installed, specially developed for outdoor use and capable of operating reliably even in wind, rain and temperature fluctuations. This high-speed roller door is therefore a robust and weatherproof solution that withstands the daily demands of logistics operations.

Thanks to its high opening speed, waiting times are reduced while heat loss during entry and exit is minimised. This ensures greater efficiency, lower energy costs and reliable protection for the stored goods.

Several high-speed doors were also used inside the hall to separate different areas. These high-speed doors enable the quick and efficient separation of various hall sections and help maintain temperature zones more effectively. Especially in heavily frequented logistics areas, this makes an important contribution to saving energy and ensuring a smooth flow of materials.

The combination of fast opening, robust construction and simple maintenance makes high-speed doors an economical solution for modern logistics halls.
