Custom Loading Solution for One of Vienna’s Largest Butchery Operations – Safe, Efficient, and Perfectly Tailored to the Existing Structure
Some projects don't start with a standard request, but with a real challenge—and that's exactly what makes them especially exciting. Recently, we had the opportunity to plan and implement a comprehensive, custom-designed loading system for one of Vienna's leading butchery businesses. The goal was to make optimal use of the existing infrastructure while simultaneously meeting the highest demands for hygiene, safety, efficiency, and durability—key factors in modern food production.
It was clear from the outset: an off-the-shelf solution simply wouldn't suffice. Instead, the operation required individually adapted door and loading systems that could be seamlessly integrated into the existing building structure—without compromising functionality or operational safety. Our team managed the entire project: from detailed needs analysis and technical planning, through close coordination with the customer, to on-time installation and commissioning. The result: two fully equipped loading bays, complete with hydraulic dock levelers, robust industrial doors, and high-quality door seals—specifically tailored to the requirements of a food-processing facility.
Precision in Existing Structures – Every Centimeter Counts
Working within the existing building presented special demands on our expertise. Tight spatial conditions, irregular geometries, and pre-existing structural constraints required maximum flexibility and meticulous craftsmanship. Every centimeter was carefully considered, and every component precisely adapted to the site conditions. The outcome: two loading bays that are not only hygienically flawless and safe in daily operation but also low-maintenance and energy-efficient in the long term—a clear added value for everyday workflows.
Safety Across the Entire Site – From Entrance to Loading Bay
The safety of the entire logistics area was also a top priority. At the entrance, we installed two large-format roller shutters to reliably secure the premises. Installation took place in a highly angled and confined setting—a demanding task that was smoothly accomplished thanks to our years of experience and precise execution. The doors feature modern safety elements such as integrated light curtains and emergency release mechanisms, offering high protection against unauthorized access, weather exposure, and vandalism.
High-Speed Door for Hygienic Separation Indoors
Inside the building, we additionally installed a modern high-speed door serving as a flexible barrier between production and storage areas. With opening speeds of up to 3.0 m/s, it minimizes energy loss, maintains stable temperature zones, and prevents cross-contamination—a crucial advantage in sensitive food environments. At the same time, it ensures smooth workflows and short waiting times during daily operations.
