Custom-made loading solution for butcher business in Vienna

Some projects do not begin with a standard request, but with a real challenge – and that is exactly what makes them particularly exciting. Recently we were allowed to plan and realize a comprehensive, custom-made loading system for one of the leading butcher businesses in Vienna. The goal was to optimally utilize the existing infrastructure and at the same time meet the highest requirements for hygiene, safety, efficiency and durability – decisive factors in modern food production.

Already at the beginning it was clear: A standard solution would not suffice here. Instead, the business needed individually adapted gate and loading systems that could be seamlessly integrated into the existing building structure – without compromises in functionality or operational safety. Our team therefore took over the entire processing: from the detailed needs analysis through technical planning and close coordination with the customer to the on-schedule assembly and commissioning.

The result: two fully equipped loading stations including hydraulic loading ramps, robust industrial gates and high-quality gate seals that are specifically tailored to the requirements of a food business.

Work in the existing building placed special demands on our expertise. Tight space conditions, irregular geometries and existing structural requirements demanded maximum flexibility and craftsmanship precision.
Every centimeter was carefully considered, every component exactly matched to the conditions.

This created two loading stations that are not only hygienically flawless and safe in operation, but also work long-term maintenance-free and energy-efficient – a clear added value for daily operations.
The solution takes into account all specific requirements of a butcher business: robust materials that are easy to clean, and systems that function reliably even under highest stress.

The safety of the entire logistics area was also in focus. In the access area we installed two large-format roller gates that reliably secure the site. The installation took place in a strongly angled installation situation – a demanding task that was smoothly mastered thanks to our many years of experience and precise assembly.

The gates have modern safety features such as integrated light curtains and emergency unlocking and offer high protection against unauthorized access, weather influences and vandalism.
These measures not only increase the safety of the personnel, but also protect the valuable infrastructure of the business in the long term.

In the interior area, a modern high-speed door was additionally used, which serves as a flexible separation between production and storage area. With opening speeds of up to 3.0 m/s it minimizes energy losses, keeps temperature zones stable and prevents cross-contamination – a decisive advantage in sensitive food environments.

At the same time, it ensures smooth processes and short waiting times in daily operations.  The high-speed door is particularly optimized for food use: It can be opened and closed in a flash, is easy to clean and reliably maintains hygiene regulations.

This project presented us with several challenges 

• Tight space conditions: The loading stations had to be integrated into an already existing building stock without impairing ongoing operations.
• High hygiene standards: All materials and surfaces had to be food-safe and easy to clean.
• Safety requirements: Modern safety technology protects personnel and systems around the clock.
• On-schedule execution: The assembly took place without operational disruptions and on time for commissioning.
