We are pleased to present another technical innovation from our company—a custom-made hydraulic crossing bridge, also known as a rail flap, which we specifically developed and manufactured as a special solution tailored precisely to our customer's individual requirements.
The Challenge: Our customer required a safe and efficient solution to move back and forth between two production halls without having to take a long detour across the outdoor site. The reason: an existing railway track with rails prevented a direct connection. The solution: a custom hydraulic crossing bridge—deployed exactly where conventional ramps or fixed bridges are not feasible.
What Is a Hydraulic Crossing Bridge (Rail Flap)?
A rail flap-type crossing bridge is a movable access system that allows obstacles such as rails or ground elevations to be crossed. Unlike permanently installed ramps, it can be opened or closed as needed—making it ideal for dynamic logistics or production processes.
Our hydraulically operated custom design was developed directly in our facility and precisely matched to the customer’s specific structural and logistical conditions. It now serves as a safe and flexible transition solution over an existing rail track of a railway siding.
