Employee Protection – Product Innovations & Energy Efficiency
Dear Sir or Madam of the AUVA,
On behalf of the entire staff of Weglehner Ges.m.b.H., we would like to sincerely thank you – not only for including our company in your renowned safety magazine, but above all for the appreciative and expert presentation of our innovative work in the field of loading technology safety. The detailed article on forward-looking companies from the Mühlviertel, in which our inflatable dock seals for trains, trucks and loading stations were in the spotlight, has exceptionally pleased and encouraged us.
In a time when occupational safety, energy efficiency and hygiene in logistics and industry are increasingly converging, it is of inestimable value that institutions like the AUVA not only point out risks but also make solutions visible – especially those that come directly from practice and are developed by regional companies. That our development was highlighted as exemplary in this context is perceived by us as great recognition of our commitment to safe, sustainable and intelligent loading technology.
Our inflatable dock seals arose from a concrete need: How can we create an airtight, thermally effective and at the same time flexible seal during the loading and unloading of rail vehicles or trucks – without obstructing the work process? The answer was a solution made of robust, weather-resistant material that inflates automatically upon docking, fits tightly against the vehicle or wagon and thus effectively blocks thermal bridges, draughts, dirt and pests. At the same time, it protects employees from draughts and extreme temperatures – a clear gain for employee protection and energy efficiency in the workplace.
That the AUVA has recognized and appreciated this innovation not only as a technical product but as a contribution to prevention particularly pleases us. Because behind every technical solution are people – our employees who are deployed daily in the workshop and on site, as well as the logistics teams of our customers, whose working conditions are noticeably improved by such systems. Your reporting helps to strengthen awareness of practical safety culture – away from pure regulations, towards intelligent, thoughtful solutions.
As a medium-sized company based in Neumarkt im Mühlkreis, we know how important regional networking and professional exchange are. The attention from your safety magazine motivates us to continue thinking boldly, experimenting and understanding safety not as a cost factor, but as an investment in people and the environment. At the same time, we hope that our example inspires other companies to contribute their own ideas – because product innovations often arises where practice and necessity meet.
Finally, once again our sincere thanks to the entire editorial team of the AUVA safety magazine for the professional, respectful and at the same time lively reporting. Such publications are not only a source of information, but also an impulse for a safer working world throughout Austria.
With utmost respect and best thanks,
Weglehner Ges.m.b.H.
