Installation of new loading bays at the pharmaceutical and frozen logistics center at the Port of Linz

A state-of-the-art pharmaceutical and deep-freeze logistics center has been built at the Port of Linz, setting new standards. Our client aimed to optimally equip different logistics areas with specific requirements regarding hygiene, temperature control, and efficiency—and we were entrusted with delivering the appropriate infrastructure.

For the pharmaceutical area, we installed 6 loading bays specifically designed to meet cleanliness and hygiene standards. In parallel, 7 loading bays for frozen logistics were implemented to ensure an uninterrupted cold chain.

• 13 dock levelers for smooth loading and unloading operations
• 1 scissor lift table for flexible lifting and loading processes
• 7 high-speed roller shutters for high throughput
• Inflatable door seals providing additional all-around sealing of trucks on all four sides
• 13 traffic light systems for clear communication with truck drivers
• 1 fire-rated sliding door for safe compartmentalization within the building

Thanks to our customized doors, dock levelers, lift tables, and door seals, the logistics center meets the highest standards for safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency.

This project once again demonstrates that, as experts in industrial and logistics infrastructure, we develop individual solutions—from planning through to installation—thereby future-proofing modern logistics centers such as the one at the Port of Linz.
